anyone know about getting extended cables without having to take the old ones off and send them in? Got some 14” apes I’m looking to mount and I think I’m gunna need +10 on the clutch, brake, and throttle cable. Any info helps.

There is really no way around sending the throttle cable in to whoever is making your new cables. The piece on the end is proprietary to our bike and they will need that piece if they don't stock it, which I couldn't find a place that stocked that piece. I would think maybe you you can purchase that little piece from somewhere or find someone selling an old throttle cable who is parting out an old Savage. The other cables don't need to be sent in...

Thanks! I ended up going through Barnett for everything. They had some previous drawings to where I didn’t have to send anything in[ch128077]

Those were the drawings I had them make for the various Savage/S40 throttle cable attachments.

Did they describe how to take accurate measurements for your cables ?
Did they work out ?
Did you get a brake line as well ?

Yeah they mentioned that Lancer. I ended up measuring the old ones anyway just to make sure I had the stock cables on it. I went with +10” for 14” apes. And yes I had them do the brake line also! I haven’t gotten them in the mail yet, I believe I called them on Monday.
