has any one had problems purchasing an early style igniter box, I have tried my local Suzuki shop and partzilla both are back ordered. I also tried to find the electronics parts to fix the boxes I have to no avail any suggestions

You might try Ron Ayers, phone # 252-758-3084 they list the 1986 as Ignitor assy-32900-24B00 @ $288.19 give them a call and see if they really have it in stock.
