Title: barnett clutch Post by nickbilljim on 03/13/20 at 12:09:07 Hi I have a 86 savage I have increased the power on my bike and now the clutch slips.I have measured the friction plates and the steel plates and there is no wear at all, I have tried heavy duty clutch springs, I ordered an extra friction plate and steel plate but when I put them in the basket there was not enough room for any free play I have tried pre-loading the clutch springs with washers it worked a bit but it still slips I am thinking of buying barnett friction plates. What makes these better than standard?and will they cure my slipping problem many thanks |
