Title: Barry's Legacy

“Hard to Think of Bigger Disappointment Than Obama”

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2019/11/hard-to-think-of-bigger-disappointment-than-obama-amazing-liberal-writer-dunks-on-obama-after-he-attacks-bernie-sanders/

I want to know how they justify the fact that after 8 years of Obama—two of which he had control of both houses of Congress:
- 40% of Americans struggling to afford basic necessities
- 78% of full-time worker living paycheck-to-paycheck
- 500k annual medical bankruptcies

I want to know what Obama fans think of:
- His extrajudicial killings
- His algorithm-based kill list
- His Citigroup-approved cabinet
- Gap btwn top 1% & bottom 90% growing every yr of presidency
- His admin prosecuting no Wall St execs
- Libya, Yemen, etc.
- Wall St speeches

Quick recap of Obama's time in office:
- More wars
- Bailout but no accountability for Wall Street
- Surrendered public option w/ majorities in House & Senate
- Increased deportations & put kids in cages
- Prosecuted whistleblowers
- PRISM
- Expanded fossil fuel extraction

Best regards,

I'm pretty sure we can pick any President and make a list of things that went bad in the country while they were in office.

The problem I see with these types of questions is that people want to compare Now, with Then and that's simply impossible to do reliably.

For instance I'd like to know what Trump fans think of his press conference telling active-duty military that he gave them the largest raise they had ever received, and the only one in the past decade, when it was actually Obama that gave them the highest raise.

See, anyone can do that about any President.

The opportunity for holding Obama to account with meaningful consequences has passed.   We have a new Administration to contend with.   Any regret you may have for not acting doesn't matter now- nor are we obliged to make the same mistake.

-------

"Pg" chooses to nominate Obama as "Barry", an oft adopted expression of deriders who would deny agency over the very name the President uses to identify himself.  "Pg" proffers the name Obama used in his youth, not as an adult- the equivalent of calling him "boy".   There's a long tradition in Racist America of calling black people by some other name than what they call themselves or ask others to call them.

Evidently you didn't read or comprehend the article.  Those talking points are from a Huffington Post contributor.  Yes, I love it when the left cannibalizes itself.  The reason it is applicable now is because Barry said we wouldn't support Bernie.  As you are aware he won't support Quid Pro Joe as well.  This illustrates the left is far from unified.

Best regards,

Also, I have a long standing tradition to refer to people I do not care for by some other name they will not likely appreciate.

Best regards,

Oh man, don't even get me started.
When Obama was president, my car broke down.
He told me I can have this Obama car - I waited and waited. Still waiting.

Then when I was Hungry and was eating carrots cos that was all I could manage, he said there is Affordable Carrots I can have. I waited and waited, still waiting.

Dammit, I want my Obama car and my Affordable carrots.

I swear I should be a comedian. I am so funny.

Cool.
