Title: Deadbeat Doofus

On top of everything else, trump's a deadbeat.... (no surprise)

Minneapolis Mayor Slams Trump For Cheapskate Behavior

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey (D) condemned President Donald Trump again over the weekend, calling him out for neglecting to compensate cities for costs incurred by campaign rallies.

“He doesn’t like paying his bills,” Frey wrote in an op-ed for the Washington Post, published on Saturday. “Just ask the cities of El Paso, Tucson or Lebanon, Ohio, all of which are still waiting for the president to pick up his tab for costs their cities incurred hosting his campaign events.”

Frey said Minneapolis has an outstanding bill for $530,000 from Thursday’s “Keep America Great” event at the city’s Target Center, which Frey noted is “publicly owned but privately operated.”

“Just as some of the cities are large and some are small, so are the expenses and the unpaid bills — $570,000 from El Paso, $16,200 from Lebanon,” he added in the piece.

Last week, Trump instigated a Twitter war with Frey, firing off tweets at the Minneapolis mayor for attempting to “price out free speech” by slapping him with the $530,000 bill.

His campaign released a statement calling the sum “ridiculous” and the security charges “bogus.”

Frey defended the cost, citing public safety expenses resulting from heightened security risks, as well as various other costs including traffic control, given the event’s rush hour timing. The cost was calculated with standard methodology employed for other large-scale events in the city such as the Super Bowl and the Final Four, he said.

The Democratic mayor also accused the president of incivility, calling out Trump’s behavior when he first learned Minneapolis was seeking reimbursement.

“He did not call me directly to discuss details,” Frey wrote. “He did not seek to better understand the terms of the contract. He took to Twitter to make threats, inflame his base ahead of the event and lash out at me and the diverse city I represent.”

The mayor reasserted that he believes Minneapolis taxpayers should not have to bear the brunt of operating costs resulting from the president’s campaign rally.

“The booking agent is still seeking payment from the Trump campaign, and our position continues to be that the city should be reimbursed,” Frey wrote.

According to a study by the Center for Public Integrity, published in June, the Trump campaign has outstanding bills from various cities totaling more than $840,000 (not including Minnesota) for services provided by local police and fire departments.

Here is the TRUTH.

Minneapolis Mayor Frey, makes AOC Look Smart.
Mayor Frey, makes Warren look like a 10%er Conservative.
Frey, makes O’Rourke look like the head of the NRA.

In other words, Frey, has the most severe case of TDS I have ever seen.
(even worse than you tt)

Frey also helped, Noor get the 'slap on the hands', 12 year sentence, (which he will be out in 6), for his Stone Cold Murder.

Non-issue. The mayor of Minneapolis would sacrifice his first born if his Party's candidate asked him to. This is an advertisement for the "anybody but Trump" party, not news.

Would that be the same as the UL FDS GBS's Spinning, Dodging, Deflecting, putting words in people mouth, etc, etc, etc,

More TRUTH for tt, who knows nothing about the Mpls rally,
except what tt is TOLD to say.

“They’re upset because it’s the hypocrisy,” Lt. Kroll said. “All kinds of photos of our command staff have surfaced of our officials behind President Obama because they were ordered to be there.”

Within hours of President Trump announcing he was having a rally in Minneapolis in October, the city’s mayor released a shocking statement that said the Commander in Chief wasn’t welcome in his fair city.

A sudden policy change has prohibited uniformed Minneapolis police officers from appearing in uniform at political events.

The stealing of hats, spitting on people, sucker punching people, setting fires, vandalism,  and on and on and on.
Just TYPICAL  VIOLENCE, of the UL FDS GBS.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Vf22N1_8nE

OH and Cost ?

Obama cost 20,000.00 when he came here, to stump for his failed ACA.
BECAUSE Frey said: "Frey stood by the security costs estimate, saying a Trump political rally brings “significant expenses" not associated with Obama's 2009 event, which was aimed at building support for health care reform”

Golly Gee Wally, ya think those, ‘significant expenses” not associated with Obama’, are Frey saying,
the NON VIOLENT protesters that were here then !!! Who protested in place and were NOT violent.
don’t cost as much as the Violent ones.
Gee is that the UL FDS GBS DFI Frey saying: The Left is Violent, the Right is not !

Compared to the VIOLENT  BLM/Antifa, and the chants of, ‘Kill A Cop’, Stealing caps, Spitting, Throwing things, blocking traffic, and going places they were prohibited from going.

OBTY, Obama was charged 20,000,   Even considering inflation, NO WAY was the bill even close to 530,000.00.
Golly Gee Wally, how come Eddie says the rally cost 530,000.00 when Duluth cost $69,000.00 and Rochester cost $93,000.00.

This says it all:
"Mayor Frey took yet another step to stifle the voices of Minnesota Republicans looking to show their support for our President. This move highlights the fact that liberal Democrats cannot handle the outpouring of support for President Trump, his successes in office, and his message of making America great again, and their only course of action is to silence the opposition. It was bad enough for Frey to say the President of the United States is not welcome in his city, but
it is simply outrageous that Democrats are now choosing to trample on the First Amendment rights of Minnesotans.“

More about the deadbeat in the oval office......

Albuquerque Sends Trump Campaign Bill For $211,000 To 'Pay Our Taxpayers Back'

The city of Albuquerque has sent Donald Trump’s campaign a bill for $211,000 for a two-day September campaign visit in the area. The mayor said he wants the campaign to “pay our taxpayers back.”

“Our resources for law enforcement are critical and limited,” Tim Keller, the Democratic mayor of the New Mexico city, said in a statement.

“The president’s campaign stop in the Albuquerque area cost the taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars, including over 1,500 hours of police overtime that was required by the campaign,” he said. “We are asking the Trump campaign to pay our taxpayers back for the costs from his campaign stop.”

Trump stayed overnight in Albuquerque for a campaign rally in nearby Rio Rancho. During the visit, Albuquerque police provided security and city employees were required to vacate certain buildings.

Costs included nearly $133,000 for paid time off for city employees who had to leave their jobs early, $71,242 for police services and $7,000 for barricades.

The Trump campaign has a reputation for sticking local taxpayers with costs for the president’s numerous rallies and political visits — even as his campaign raises record amounts of money.

Earlier this month, Trump slammed Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey as a “radical left mayor” because the Democrat demanded Trump’s campaign cover the city’s costs for a rally. Frey replied that Midwesterners “pay our bills” and that the president’s campaign could afford to pitch in.

“He doesn’t like paying his bills,” Frey wrote in an op-ed for The Washington Post. “Just ask the cities of El Paso, Tucson or Lebanon, Ohio, all of which are still waiting for the president to pick up his tab for costs their cities incurred hosting his campaign events.”

At least 10 cities have complained that the Trump campaign has not paid them for police and fire department costs, totaling more than $840,000, according to a study this summer by the Center for Public Integrity.

The campaign still owes $569,000 to El Paso, Texas, for a rally there in February, local station CBS-4 TV reported earlier this month. The money represents 15% of the city’s total debt. Former Congressman Beto O’Rourke (D-Texas), who held a presidential campaign rally in March in El Paso, paid his bill in May when it was due.

The Trump campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment from HuffPost. Michael Glassner, the chief operating officer of the Trump campaign organization, told The Hill that it’s the “Secret Service, not the campaign, which coordinates with local law enforcement.” He added that all bills should go to the Secret Service.

A city representative underscored to The Hill that the cost was “created by the president’s campaign,” not for a presidential visit.

The campaign may yet be charged other expenses by Bernalillo County, the Albuquerque Journal reported. “If it were an official presidential visit, you don’t bill for that kind of thing,” county spokesman Tom Thorpe told the newspaper. “It was campaign [related]. That makes it different.”

The Albuquerque bill is due Nov. 16.

Trump sycophants can't/won't honestly confront the most basic things.   Remember when Trump on the campaign trail said he had raised $6 million for veterans?   Then that he was personally giving $1 million- both of which turned out to be lies.   Moreover, less than half of the funds collected from contributors for veterans given to the Trump "charity" passed through to veterans, and the court found the charity was being used by Trump to both launder money and use charity funds for his own ends.  Trump then shut down the charity, disposing of incriminating records in the process.   Just one of the things waiting for him, once out of office.

These are not the acts of a good person.   Good people do not support such reprehensible, shameful acts.
