Title: New Pony in the stable
Post by SoC on 09/30/19 at 21:26:45

As if one Savage isn't enough, 2 is getting excessive, a third has joined the herd. Number 1 has served me well for over 2 years. I had to install the Versy cam adjuster and that led to a new Cobra exhaust and some running lights and new handle  bars and new headlight. The 2nd was a wreck that I bought for a spare motor, parts and mock-up. Just found a great deal on a 2014 and couldn't pass on it as #1 is still in the rack getting parts final fabricated, installed and finished. Anyway, here is #3, needs a little fine tuning but I had a nice ride ripping around the industrail park this evening.

The color really pops under the lights, in the day light is is not quite as impressive. One thought, I have a rear fender that is black with gold metal flake, it is from one of the older bikes and it is set up to take a sissy bar which I have also, that would allow me to move over the brown leather, diamond stitched seats to it. It would have a color flow from solid gold up front to gold/black tank to solid black rear.

The deal was too good to let it pass. I can trade it in for what I paid.

That was my bike too, however, my first choice was the mist green/blue, but the sales guy told me no way, that was a girl color.....

I though bikes were gender neutral  ;D
