Title: Ryca parts
Post by Blanco Willy on 09/22/19 at 07:28:30

Does anyone on here know of or have any used ryca parts for sale. I am mainly in search of the rearset bracket and rearsets. Also if anyone has any good used 13in shocks, I might be interested in those. And Front and rear rim set in good shape.

I know the creative minds that participate on this forum and I'm sure someone has a viable idea on installing rearsets. ;)

The only two viable options I’m aware of are:

1. Buy RYCA’s
2. Weld up your own

I’ve yet to see a RYCA part out.

If I were doing it, I'd replace the rear engine mount with some steel plates extending down to that area.
A couple of thru bolts mounting similar plates for the pegs to mount to and you got it.

Hey that's something I'll definitely look into. Thanks for your input Verslagen1.[ch129504]

Don’t forget that you also have to fabricate a shift mechanism

After much head scratching, I gave up and bought the Ryca bracket. Heavy, but they fit well.
One day I'll make a set of brackets out of aluminum. Not this week...

I don't believe they sell the bracket separately from the cs-1 kit anymore. Looks like they used to sell it with the chain conversion kit,but I didn't see that it was still available.

I was just looking through the RYCA website. It would appear that all of the kit parts (all models) and accessories for their kits are out of stock. Yet, there are generic items for street & dirt bikes that have never been available through RYCA.

Has RYCA stopped producing their kits?

Their website is new and very slow , may not be completed yet.

A few of us have made "mid-controls" that basically copied RYCA's rears set brackets in one-way or another.

I have rear shocks, but one of them needs a bushing. I removed it to see if it could be used on my rigid struts.
