Title: About That Wall.....
Post by T And T Garage on 09/06/19 at 06:46:55

You remember, the one that Mexico was gonna pay for, right?

Well, as it stands now, it comes as no surprise to anyone that Mexico will not be paying for it.

Instead, here's who's/what's actually paying for it:

Yeah, our military.

Hey all you trump supporters - how does it feel to be duped by a con man?  He ran a huge part of his campaign on "building the wall and having Mexico pay for it".  He played you all as suckers.

But you know what?  I'm sure you're all ok with it.  Because it doesn't matter in trump's world.  You and he don't live in reality.  You and he make sh!t up as you go along and double down on the insanity.

As every day goes by, everyone but you can see the mistake the country made and damage this moron has done to the office of president.

I can't wait for a more respectable person to take the president's chair in 2020. You know, one that can talk in complete sentences, one that won't play $200 million worth of golf, one that won't serve "hamberders" in the white house, one that doesn't spray tan and one that doesn't get his advice from fox & friends.

Remember the Constitution?...
Those people that want guns to defend it?
Those people that fear tyranny?...

Void the Constitution when you agree with the tyrant... :-?

Quote:
The Constitution gives spending powers to Congress, not the president, part of the “separation of powers that Madison crafted as a bulwark against tyranny,” Napolitano said. In this case, Congress “expressly declined to give him that money,” and Trump signed the bill that denied him the cash for his wall.

Then, Trump took the money anyway, using emergency powers that Napolitano noted may have been passed into law by previous Congresses, yet are not in the Constitution.

Napolitano called it “dangerous to our liberty” to let the president take the powers that belong to Congress.

“When Congress lets presidents write their own laws, then he’s not a president,” Napolitano said. “He’s a prince.”

The powers were given to the pres by the congress per the constitution.
And there is a process to over ride that declaration.
And if you still don't agree... you can stamp your feet and howl.   ;D

Not me...
Napolitano and the army of constitutional lawyers that will sue, and likely drag this out to well past the election.
Which is all Trump wants it for.
The argument may be that it is not a national emergency,... the proof being Trump has sat on monies already appropriated and built nothing.  Also, public comments by Trump that insinuate the real urgency is the election, not invasion.
Hoist by his own petard... as he so often does.
