Title: We need stricter finger laws
Post by Eegore on 09/01/19 at 02:06:14

We need stricter finger laws to keep this sort of thing from happening.

Its getting crazier and crazier......

Remember the outrage when a house member called out, "YOU LIE" to Obama, and it proves he was right about the specific charge re: healthcare.

Now you can say anything about the president and be herald, promoted, and held in high esteem.
Do folks really not see that sword has two edges......????

You won't be able to defend your own, because you have allowed this mindset to flourish, thinking what, you can put the genie back in the bottle after you are through using her....????

Shoulda thought further the possible ramifications, before you struck the match.

Once we embrace and promote mob mentality/insanity, we have surrender any control, to the mob!

Awesome, so glad the legal precedent has been set,
so the next time someone raises their middle finger,
and say: ‘FU’.

I can sue them because that gesture,
"served no legitimate purpose, and recklessly risked provoking a dangerous altercation"

This article begs the question - "Where do we draw the line?"

Somewhere before physical contact and after finger points?.....

The Line is drawn.
It's actually illegal to shoot someone.
Pointing a FINGER? FFS!

Tennis racket?
Phhht,,
Stupid as Hell
And any disrespect to the judges should be dealt with. Should have ended the game, right there.
Threaten a ref in the nfl..
But rave on about guns..
Where there is none.

How about threats?

How about shooting a gun in the air?

See how slippery that gets?

Oh, and before you go off - I personally think that this case should not have even seen a court of law.

"Frenzied panic"?

Not even close, jog.  This is a "SMH type" post at best.

It should be used as a learning tool as what not to do.

But that doesn't mean that all threats should be taken so lightly.

It's just a conversation..... relax...

You're having it.
Say what you actually think needs done.

WTF are you talking about?

I'm not in a panic.  I'm just making comments.

Lighten up, jog.  Seesh....

There's a lot of things that "need done".  One of which is tort reform.

But as to this particular case - it should have been thrown out.

However, threats of any kind should be taken seriously and followed up on.

There isn't a "one size fits all" when dealing with things like this.

Well, shux, there I was, thinking you had some ideas about what to do about such heinous acts as pointing a FINGER at someone.

Like I said, this is merely discussion.  No reason to get so testy.....

But since this means so much to you - what are your suggestions?....
