Hi all. I been lurking here for the past few months since I started looking into buying a motorcycle. After taking the MSF course I decided to buy an S40 due to the sheer amount of information for this bike found on the site. Since purchasing the bike in June, I've put 1400 miles on the bike and just took my first road trip from Detroit to Alpena, MI. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone on here.

I got it to open in normal size. It looks like a clean bike. Welcome to the forum.

I guess that is one of the great lakes in the background. Nice.

I thought it was flat up there on the right coast???  What's that hill behind your bike?

That's a pile of abandoned limestone. The location is Rockport Harbor, a former limestone quarry loading dock turned state recreation area.

I don't know about being related UglyBrute?    No body ever tells me I'm petty , and we both have a Savage/S-40 now !  ;D

How did you get such a name anyway ?   :-?

I altso find the sourdings and the shadows to be very nice, but then I got the whole picture of the bike!
