Title: Bags ...
Post by MnSpring on 07/05/19 at 09:03:41

Remember when, it was supposedly environmentally friendly,
To use, Plastic Bags,
Because the, 'environment gurus' of the time keep saying:
"Save a Tree, use Plastic Bags"

Gee, how did that work out, (Outside of putting great gobs of your money in someones  pocket, cause, YOU 'thought' you were, 'helping' the environment, because,  'Some Said').

I think it still is better than paper,.. but reusable fabric bags are best.

So, what do you use,... or do you just walk around cussing at trees for being over-sensitive, weakling, UL, FDS, faerie shelters? ;D

I use fabric bags when I can, and ask for paper when I can't.

LOLOL,  I USE, Trees. They ARE, a renewable recourse.

I've never known anyone that thought plastic generation was better than organic, but it may be reasonable to think a strong advertising campaign would work on anyone unwilling to do the research on their own.

The issue wasn't using trees, it was not planting more.

There was a time when smoking was good for you, and cereal was "part of a balanced breakfast" so I imagine just about anything can turn up bad results decades later.

Funny how that works. I remember when New York switched from paper to plastic grocery bags - on account of "saving the environment".

Well, guess what.  New York just changed the law. Next year we're gonna switch back to paper. On account of "saving the environment."

Of course since we're all gonna be dead in 12 years anyhow on account of "climate change", which is no doubt our own darn  fault, I don't really see WTF difference it makes what we tote our groceries home in in the meantime.

Pine trees are just a crop.
The company that cuts them has reason to set more.
The Frikken plastic bags are a mistake.
They are puny, don't stand up, and can't begin to perform like a paper sack.
Two plastic bags
Two two liter bottles
Pathetic
