Title: Wolo Bad Boy horn
Post by springman on 05/25/19 at 20:26:29

Has anyone mounted a Wolo Bad Boy horn on their Savage/S40? I spent a couple of hours today mounting one in the same location as the original horn. Well maybe an hour mounting it and another hour trying to get the old one back on (I kept dropping the nut and or washer of the original one). Anyway, when the wolo was mounted it did not matter what position it was in, the front left turn signal would hit it at full turn. I think I figured out another way to mount it but it will be another day. >:(

I’ve been in gone for years.
Mounted it with zip ties, 3 I think.
Works good, last long time GI !  [ch129299]

I mounted the FIAMM El Grande horns and they came with similar brackets shown in MMRanch's post.  I used those to offset the horns, using the mounting holes and screws from the rectangular reflectors which I removed.

Suckers are loud but with a really good sound.

Thanks guys. I was actually at Harbor Freight this weekend and saw the one MM shows. I just wondered if it was any good. Is it very loud MM? I can always put the Wolo on my car. ;D

When a lane changer intrudes on my lane , my horns go off and they take notice without hesitation .   I like it like that  !   ;)
