My response was "except Bernie". This means that Bernie Sanders isn't pretending to be anything. He's the same person he's always been, fighting for the same causes. That is a true asset.

I would argue that Bernie is the only 2020 hopeful to be 100% genuine. You conservatives label AOC as a "wacko", but in reality, she scares the sh!t out of the establishment (both dem and repub). That's exactly what happened to Bernie in 2016 - he was feared by the democratic establishment and they pushed him down.

2020's gonna be interesting.

The Second Amendment is easy to understand at its premise.

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. Of course, it's 230 years old, so maybe there's room for updating a little.....

Firearms are much more complex and I don't know much other than what I've shot and what I've held in my hand. However, I ask questions and try to learn more.

You on the other hand, are willfully ignorant to Bernie's platform. You hear the word "socialist" and ignore everything else. You don't know, nor do you care about anything that even remotely has to do with a liberal thought.

Yet you sit there an accuse me of being ignorant? You are obviously in need of education. You don't seem to grasp the concept of ignorance.

I tend to mostly agree with Eddie Haskel I mean TT on this one. Bernie is the most authentic of the Dems. He is exactly who he presents himself to be. A crabby, foolish aging hippie.

Thanks Thumper. I realize that - but I'm playing him too. People who might come across this little forum by accident might see his antics and realize that all conservatives are crazy.

He sets a great example of that. His posts look like ransom notes, his use of emojis is laughable and his ignorance is on full display.

That's how you spin it - in actuality, she's saved the state nearly $3 billion in taxes. Amazon pays nothing in taxes - nothing. All those lofty promises were empty to begin with.

Further, Amazon already employs about 5000 people in NY.

The increase in economic activity and the jobs , that's what New York could have had.
NOT taxing the property is what they would have given up.
Look at how Wal-Mart has been treated in community after community. It's a common practice to waive property taxes in order to Get companies to move in.
It was gonna COST New York
NOTHING.

It would have Benefited them immensely.
