Title: Offset Drive Pulley
Post by DieselBob on 04/21/19 at 07:58:37

Always a dangerous thing when I'm sick and in the recliner with time on my hands.

An interesting example of an offset drive pulley with outrigger support bearing to accommodate a wide-tired Savage "softtail" (to use Harley terminology). I only wish my Russian was good enough to fully appreciate the humorous clips interjected into the mix.

Numerous other vids of the build can be found on his Youtube page.

While I respect their ability and vision.......it is far more tire than a 30HP engine requires (but so is the stock tire).

I guess it is about getting the "look" and not about performance or durability.

I love the cool machine work and engineering they put into it.  Sounds like a turd and doesn't look all that inspiring to ride, but still love seeing what people do to these bikes.

Somebody sure put a lotta time and money in to screwing up their bike.
