Title: DOH! Post by Bubba on 02/27/19 at 14:06:04 Tried to crank the bike up last week...no go, put the battery tender on it for 2 days...no go...but close, looked up when I purchased the last battery (big crank)...almost 6 years ago!!! Went and ordered a new Deka battery cuz it was the same but different and heard good things about them. Arrives next week... In the meantime I changed the oil and filter, took the battery off the tender and reinstalled just to see...took a couple tries but fired right up! Multimeter shows 13.5 volts while running, 12.7 when not... Oh well, probably time for a new battery anyways... :P |

Title: Re: DOH! Post by Bubba on 02/27/19 at 14:44:12 Yeah, but the tender was all I had so there ya go... anyway, 5 1/2 to 6 years on the Big Crank was plenty...I can always keep it on the tender for when I need a battery for my timing light on my 2 strokes...lol |
