Title: Hello
Post by rangeshooter on 02/22/19 at 14:46:49

Hi, New to the forum been lurkin a bit.
Thinking of getting an S40. Been riding an xt 250 around for a few seasons but it's no get up and pass cars by no means. Along time ago in a different world  I had a GN 400 and realy liked it for a first street bike.
Wanting to get out on open roads more I think the S 40 should fit the bill.I like the fact that they are a simple design and look easy to work on and maintain. To make my first post here not a novel I may be asking a question or 50. Thanks

If you want any participation in this thread, you should use more of a subject than "Hello"

It's easy to do.  Just click on the first post in your thread, select "Modify" on that post, and improve the title.  Based on the content in your first post, you might title it something like

"Want to buy an S40, I have some questions"

or maybe

"Need info on buying my first S40"

Most of us here love newbies.  When you make it known you want to join our mob, I'll bet you get swamped with responses.

If you do buy, do you think you will buy new or used, modified or stock?

Used saves tons of money which can be spent on gas, tires, and add ons.

Thanks for the info Gyrobob, could have had a little more content in mu title
That may have had a better responce.
To answer jcstokes I am looking for a used bike that has not been modified.
I don't mind working on bikes at all. I like to mod and restore last restore was a 1972 honda Ct 90. Thanks again fellas
