Nice! but you need fenders just for survival .

You speak truth Batman!  After riding to work this week in more rain than usual I've arrived at that same conclusion.  The stock front is going back on, aftet paint, and I'm ordering a p/n 5210 from trailerpartsstore.com to put on the rear.  Tired of washing the mud off the back of my neck! >:(.  Know of any better recommendations for the rear fender?

Did you consider using a front fender from a bike with a wide front tire and adapting it to the rear ?

I hadn't thought about that Lancer but it's a great idea.  There are a couple of shops not too far off that might let me dig through some of their old stuff lying around, I'll do some scrounging and see what i can turn up.  Wish i could find an old motorcycle graveyard in the local area.

I bought this fender from TC Brothers.  I cut 40% of it off...but, it's a great fender and thick metal, plus it hugs the tire better than a trailer fender.

This is what it looks like on a 15 inch rear wheel. The white bike on the right.

Made a fender for the back and put the stock front back on.  Rain riding should be a little better now.  The TCBros fender worked out great Playhard, appreciate the tip.  They also had the front swingarm bracket for about $10 and that was a timesaver for sure.

There was a post on here somewhere recommending the postimages free site so I set up an account on postimages.org. Then I use the "Direct Link" for the pic I want to post.  The testy part for me was trying to copy and paste the pic link between the img brackets using a mobile phone.  Probably a lot easier to do that on a computer.

Grinin, if you are looking at just posting one pic in a reply, hit reply, then look at the shaded portion at the bottom.  on the left, you'll see "Attach"  to the right is a box for "Choose File".  Hit that button, then choose your pic.
