But technically they are called pathalogical liars. According to reference.com, Pathological liars all frequently lie without any reason for doing so. They do not look at lying as a way to obtain goals and external benefits in the way that most people do. Most people will lie in order to get something that they want without believing their own lies. Pathological liars will lie consistently and continually in large fantastical ways that can make it obvious to others that they are lying. Yet the pathological liar will believe his own lies and recreate his own reality. Those suffering from narcissistic personality disorders and borderline personality disorders will also believe their own lies but on a more unconscious level. They do not want to be honest with themselves so they will change the way that they think to fit with their lies. Narcissists will often tell themselves and others that everyone loves them even though they do not. They want to believe it and so they say it. Borderline personality disorder sufferers find that their emotions are too intense to handle so they claim that their emotions are facts. So... that wall that's going to "protect us" and "make us feel safe", is what - a soul search?? Too funny! Leave it to a conservative to get it completely backwards. ;D . The biggest and most used tool of the GOP is fear. Fear of "the gays", fear of "the socialists", fear of "the war on Christmas", etc.... On the other hand, liberals, like AOC, show us the hypocrisy of those fears. All they (we) have to do is look and see the fault that is right there in the open. There is no emergency at the border. There was no "mass voter fraud". There is no "war on Christmas". "The gays" are not trying to indoctrinate you. Obama wasn't/isn't a Muslim. The government isn't "coming to get your guns". Further, if you do indeed look in that mirror, tell me this - How'd that trillion dollar tax break work out for the middle class? Is Mexico gonna pay for the wall? Did trump fix healthcare yet? Didn't trump promise to never play golf during his administration? What happened to the middle class tax break trump promised right before the mid terms? How's the deficit doing? How's the coal industry doing? And on, and on... Me holding that mirror doesn't make me narcissistic, it forces you and all of your conservative friends to face the truth - like we "terrible libs" have. The constant hypocrisy of the GOP is getting tiresome and more predictable by the day. We democrats have looked in the mirror - we know exactly what's wrong. The establishment has run its course and now it's time for real change. People like Bernie, AOC and Beto are the future. |
