It's a bit ugly but it works. And it lets me carry a pair of boots inside! ;D

repaint it with truck bed paint and I think it'll be fine.

Good choice. I see you got the material that will flex if you strike a bird and not shatter back and cut you.

Had not looked at it from those perspectives Stew and Dave. Don't have to worry about shattering and don't have to worry about cleaning. I wonder if I could develop a market for these?

I prefer something a bit taller since I stand when I ride.

I used a "Bug Screen" for years , its amazing how big a hole those little bug Screens poke in the wind ! Its also nice to have a place to tie stuff to. :)

Also adds a unique feature - on impact it automatically deploys the boots you should have been wearing! ;D
