Trump says "We won’t be opening [government] until it’s solved,” but the funding for the govt is already there, by 'solved' he doesn't mean funding problem but Trump's own problem of being unhappy at being thwarted by the Congressional arm of govt. Much as he is often unhappy about being thwarted by the Judicial arm of government. Nevertheless this is what the 'problem' is.

So essentially Trump is holding the US hostage against congress to do what he wants. Which is kind of crazy because then where does that behaviour end if he can threaten congress like that. This only makes sense to see it all as just another Trump manufactured diversionary tactic as the heat from Mueller builds.

Ruttly , Your comment isn't as close to being funny ,as it is to being the truth. I find it hard to believe that the 11 Coastguard cutters (total ) would be able to handle human trafficking across the Great Lakes.

No criminals , terrorists or human trafficking happens on the Canadian border , it only happens on the Mexican border. We can still make Mexicans build the wall ! Just don't deport them until they have built 10 ft of wall then ship them back home !

I meant the funding for the govt to run, the money bills, not the wall funding.
