The EX500 has a comfortable riding position, plenty of power for highway travel, good handling for the curves, and they are easy to work on and very reliable. The one thing that keeps me from buying more bikes and riding them for a year or two and re-selling them - is that there are just too many used motorcycles for sale, and it would likely be very hard to sell it. The Cincinnati Craigslist currently has 1,648 listings under "motorcycles" (478 are Harley). |

I have heard the ex500 is pretty similar. Right now I'm looking into the vf45. Thumpers are primitive and there will always be someone wanting to rebuild & ride someone else's disposed of thumper. |
