But lets focus on the core here, first the WH uses a doctored tape from Infowars to then claim falsely Acosta assaulted the intern who was trying to grab him by the microphone. However during the recent hearing, (joined by Fox) the WH dropped all of that nonsense and tried a different tactic which didn't work. Fortunately the US institutions that are there to stop the type of authoritarian tough guy stuff that Trump so admires, is still operating. It's hard to see how Trump is going to go for another two years without imploding.
