Title: Speedometer swap LED Indicators.. Resistors?
Post by Witchdoctor on 11/15/18 at 12:52:36

Greetings
I'm thinking of using a speedometer with the turn signal, neutral, and high beam indicators built in..and they are all LED. Do I need resistors?.. I avoided LED blinkers because I didn't want to mess with anything (resistors or pre-made crap and a new relay) and proper incandescent blinkers look much softer anyways.

Nope......the small bulbs have no affect on the flasher........they will be fine in either filament or LED.

Just an update. Speedometer came with good instructions that were not in chinglish. The LED indicators work fine but I did need two diodes for the blinker indicator. One on each positive lead going from the blinkers to the speedo. Works great.. I would show off the bike a bit but for some reason I can get any pics to post on this forum anymore.  :D

How accurate is the new speedo? What have you done with the hole in the tank?
