That looks a lot nicer than the one I made .    I wonder if it still has the original spring or has something more "reasonable" in it ?    Either way I like the pin to keep it from falling all the way out.  :)

After about 6k miles I move mine to the second hole and put a spring about 1/3 the strength in the plunger .    Now at almost 50,000 miles it is only two clicks out on the ratcheting device.    I believe the original chain will go 100,000 miles with no problem as long the idle stays up to 1200 rpm or better.
