Hiya, am about to change the tensioner and I looked here for some guidance which I thank yous . My question is how to brake the engine from turning to change the tensioner , if there are videos or picture would be great , thanks in advance.

If you replace it with a stock one
You change nothing.

Your tensioner is not worn out.
Replacing it with a stock unit accomplishes nothing.
Don't do that.
Either replace the chain
Or
Get a modified tensioner from
Verslagen.

Don't thank me. I'm just helping you find a bit of info some really smart folks have shared here.

I sent my spare tensioner and a money order to Verslagen. He sent the part back super fast. Bike was not out of service the whole time. If you already purchased the stock tensioner send him that one. Then swap them when he sends it back.
