Title: rear shock rubber insert Post by seve321 on 09/05/18 at 14:19:59 Does any know where to get these rubber inserts with the metal sleeve in it? Or maybe what to key in to come close to it. I have both shocks but no rubber. |

Title: Re: rear shock rubber insert Post by Dave on 09/05/18 at 17:13:50 I had a couple of crap shocks and I knocked the bushings out in case somebody needed some....someday. Today is the someday! How many you need......I only have 3? |
Title: Re: rear shock rubber insert Post by seve321 on 09/06/18 at 07:22:02 I need all 4 but I could take one and try to match it at a hardware store. |

You aren't going to find these in a hardware store.........you are going to waste time looking. You might be better off just getting a used pair of shocks that are in good shape......lots of them should be available from people going to longer shocks or hardtails. And.....I have have not tried installing these things - I bet it is pretty hard to get them to go in. You will likely need some good lube and a bench vice. I would think the factory used some form of tapered mandrel and press to get them assembled. http://i67.tinypic.com/5d9cgz.jpg |
