- if they want to be fairly sure of ending up with the President come next election? Either a specific person, or a character/type of person.

And what should the campaign focus on? All the bad stuff Trump do/has done, or ignore him and focus on what they want to do for the future?

The campaign just needs to use the same big data targeting to score easy votes. Right now it works very well.

I'd prefer to see future goals, I have never cared for attack ads as they don't tell me what I'm voting for, just against.

I agree with that; all over the globe it seems politicians are more concerned about the opposition than their country and what they can do for it. A pity. But could we, the voters, be responsible? It seems that we want the most charismatic people in politics, those who talk loud and promise a lot and go hard against our "mutual enemies"; the stupid(?) opposition. What we do not want, it seems, are the qualified, skilled, honest but also "invisible" politicians that can go about and do the job properly without really being seen.
