Title: rear shock Post by nablats on 07/31/18 at 13:12:11 left rear shock has a bit of side play on the lower mount approx. 2mm other side no play. should I fit a washer or is it not important?

Title: Re: rear shock Post by stewmills on 07/31/18 at 13:23:00 IIRC, that is a cap nut. Did you remove the stock belt guard?  If so you may have added some slack in the bolt due to the cap head bottoming out, and in that case I would add a washer to take up the slack.
