Title: Aftermarket tanks Post by SavageMan99 on 07/03/18 at 19:09:25 Mine is all ate up. I'd like to know of any direct swaps. Also, a bar mounted speedometer that will work. |
Title: Re: Aftermarket tanks Post by Dave on 07/03/18 at 19:15:21 There are no direct swaps. Any tank that you decide to adapt will take some fiddling....some take more than others. You can look through the Bike Builds section and see what has been adapted....or look through the RSD and find threads about tanks. MMRanch is using one that is a pretty easy adaptation, and offers a bit more capacity......and doesn't have a speedometer hole (and therefore requires some more modifications to mount a speedo and indicator lights up to the handlebars). |
Title: Re: Aftermarket tanks Post by batman on 07/03/18 at 20:12:23 There are many speedos that will work ,the trick is to use a longer cable ,I think one from an early Suzuki GS model have been used by others . the Ryca mini comes to mind. Perhaps someone who as done it will chime in. |
