Title: 2012 Suzuki S40 Boulevard 650 cam chain timing
Post by Sherod95 on 06/29/18 at 15:02:48

I have a 2012 S40 Boulevard I’ve been working on recently. I’m having trouble figuring out how I need to set the timing on the cam chain or what indicators I need to look for to set the timing. I’d appreciate any help!

You should use a Clymer manual , but I guess you place the piston at TDC and place the cam in with the lobes down and the two marks on the shaft at the right end should end up level with the top of the cylinder head . I said should because the tensioner might rotate it back slightly do to cam chain stretch.
