Title: Side Hack Forks

One of the lads who frequents the shop does the assembly of Janus bikes that are built just down the road. For the last few days he's had one parked in our shop that occasionally has a sidecar attached (you can see the attach points in the pics. The leading links forks are standard equipment on all the Janus bikes and made in house.

So, of course I shuttled between the Janus and the Savage with a tape measure to do some comparisons. Preliminary measurements would suggest the Janus forks would be a very doable swap to the Savage if you were going with a side hack. Although, the rake of the Savage is a problem. May well require bearing changes. But, that would seem feasible. Biggest challenge for me on LL forks has been adjusting to the front end rising under braking when so accustomed to the dive of hydraulics.

I love those Janus motorcycles. I have been following their progress from the beginning.

Kinda' neat bikes... but those plastic mirrors are really hurting the look.
