Title: Carburetor top cap removal
Post by Jurzum on 04/20/18 at 09:45:20

How do open top cap bolts? My screws are so tight that there is no way to open without breaking them... I really want to adjust the needle height.

They use locktite on everything.
If you support the bottom of the flange, you can use a small impact driver.
But, you can just grab the head with a vice grip and wrench it off.

After you do that replace the screws with Allen head screws. All of them on the carb. No more headaches. :)

Very helpful answer batman. That will help him track down the screws.

They sure make it easier to work on the carb. :)
