Latest issue (April) of Cafe Racer magazine has a S40 on the cover. Can one of you guys check it out?
This magazine hasn't been available on west coast of Canada since October, or I would check it myself.
Will make a trip south at end of month to snag a copy. Thanks! 8-)

Nope...not an S40 (but close).

It is a Suzuki Temptor. A 400cc bike that uses the Savage engine - but has an entirely different chassis. Look at the brake drum, wheel rim, body side cover, cylinder head covers......it is all Temptor parts.

I love the bike - it is a shame it was never offered in the US.

It had to of performed better than the current SR400 .

Is that a right-side shifter? As in intended for flat tracker racing? That bike somewhat modified, would have been right at home in the Intermediate class (max 500cc).
