hello everyone,
Asking about a headlight problem that I have. The bulb itself is fine. Last fall before iwinterized it, i had an episode where the headlight wouldn't turn on for awhile. ididn't do much to fix it other than jiggle some wires around and it started working. now the headlight won't turn on at all. all other electrical systems are working fine. any ideas where to start looking?

It is somewhat common for the ground wire to break where the harness flexes when you turn the handlebars.

Take out he headlight, and test the black wire to see if it provides a ground, and the white and yellow wires provide 12V (yellow is high beam, white is low beam).

It could also be the connector coming loose or corroding under the tank - but generally you will loose turns signals and the horn when that connector comes loose.

Testing the headlight wires is the first place to look.......
