Has anyone used a cone filter on thier Savage? With a stock muffler, what would the jetting be at sea level. What did you do with the breather tube?

When you first come to the site look to the right of the page ,the tech section has a lot of info ,look under fuel & exhaust.

If you decide to use the cone filter you should use all or part of the hose that ran between the carb and stock air box ,this will avoid two possible problems . the rubber base of the cone filter blocking air passages in the mouth of the carb( which could hamper the slide movement) ,and it will allow the air to straighten before it enters the carb which helps with hp.
