So I dropped my '02 a could times and the headlight support cracked both times, I JB welded it back together, but it cracked again. Now I have more JB weld on their than plastic. So what aftermarket headlight can I buy that will bolt right on? I don't do much night riding but I'm not opposed to an LED headlight.

Most headlights are made for HD
you'll need something like this if you don't want to drill a hole

I like that Versy. I don't ride at night if I can avoid it but a larger headlight does improve the savage a lot.

I put on a 7" chrome headlight from Dime City (https://www.dimecitycycles.com/7-inch-chrome-classic-british-style-headlight-assembly-with-bulb.html) with a Candlepower lens and the H4 R3 LED headlight bulb from ADVMonster (http://stores.advmonster.com/h4-r3-led-headlight/).  My light output is great now.
I used the medium weight mounting brackets from Dime City (https://www.dimecitycycles.com/vintage-cafe-racer-caferacer-bobber-brat-chopper-custom-motorcycle-lighting-parts-mediumweight-dimpled-chrome-headlight-brackets-60-1440.html) which makes the light stick out too far for looks but allowed me to mount the headlight up high and without dropping the forks.  I'll get around to shortening them or replacing them with something different one of these days.  Maybe. The longer I've left it sticking out like that the more I like it.

Okay! So i got that headlight adapter from Dave (you rock btw) and now I need to make sure im ordering the right other parts

That headlight appears that it will work.  You will need to make the hole in the back larger so the wiring harness can be slipped through, and also install a new rubber grommet.  You will take the connector off the headlight, disconnect the smaller connector a few inches back, and also disconnect the turn signal and running light wires....then slip through the connector....then the smaller wires.  (I will go look and see what size grommet and hole you need).  When drilling the hole don't use a conventional twist drill as it will catch on the thin metal and make a mess, you need to use a Uni-Bit to make the hole larger.

Here is Stewmills thread on installing one of my headlight kits.....most of it will apply to your light - except the kits I sell have already been drilled and have the rubber grommet.

That ADVMonster headlight has a good light pattern and is bright.  The vertical cut off on the low beam is not very crisp and some light shines upward and you may get some objection from other drivers if you aim your headlight a bit too high.  The other issue is that the light shines out of the top of the bulb on low beam - and not from the bottom....the result is that only the top half of the headlight reflector is lit on low beam, and your daylight visibility to other traffic is compromised.

This LED from Superbright LED's does a better job of controlling the low beam vertical cut off, and the entire reflector is lit on the low beam.

I do have a few headlight buckets that have been modified, at the moment I don't have any reflector/lens assemblies.
 
You can get the lens/reflector quickly on eBay......that's where I get mine!  (Nobody will give me any kind of a discount for buying 6 at a time).

I like the Candlepower reflectors.  They factory burned down a while back, so anything you get will be old stock that hasn't sold yet.  (Try to get one that doesn't look like is was stored in a barn).
