I am thinking of doing a bobber kit but I want the bike to be as light as possible which way do you guys recommend me going

If you want the bike to be as late as possible ,the way to go would be slow.  :)      I don't know about weight ,but I'd go with the BCB bobber kit as it retains the rear shocks and will save your back and handle normally.

Like Batman said Blue Collar Bobbers will get the parts you need.  Check your state laws about the lights and how you can modify them.  Not to mention the placement of the tail light and tag.  Had to re-do to get mine through after just installing the kit.  They have good stuff though.
