Title: photo bucket Post by Mike Austin on 01/23/18 at 16:48:50 I can't view any of the cool photos you guys post, what am I doing wrong? Thanks! |
Title: Re: photo bucket Post by Gary_in_NJ on 01/23/18 at 17:00:49 Nothing Mike. The problem is that chumbucket tried to extort millions of customers/users of their site by charging them to host photos. I hope no one has paid. Personally, I've retrieved all of my chumbucket photos and as I come across that blue box, I insert the photo. |
Title: Re: photo bucket Post by Gyrobob on 01/23/18 at 17:48:28 Photobucket did us all dirty. I especially hate it because in my Double Ryca Build thread I have several hundred photos I can not use unless I pay phu**ing photobucket $400. That's extortion. >:( |
Title: Re: photo bucket Post by ohiomoto on 01/24/18 at 05:18:16 I simply attach my photos to my posts so they will be here as long as the site is up. On a side note, you are not a "customer" if you are not paying for service. Photobucket the right to charge whatever they want for their service and you have the right to use their service or not. (I'm betting most people will choose "not".) |

Title: Re: photo bucket Post by verslagen1 on 01/24/18 at 07:57:31 I'm having trouble with the web filters at work and the chrome patch. Long delays with it. Kill it, the page comes up immediately. |
Title: Re: photo bucket Post by Oldfeller on 01/24/18 at 10:11:34 I deleted the photobucket add-in as it was causing me constant delays because it wasn't loading very quickly at all any more. Sometimes it just hung totally and stopped all progress until you went back to your main desktop (exited Chrome). I too hold a hot burning spot in my heart for dear old photobucket since they lost us all the trip pics I had loaded in the last 5 years. |
