Title: Grinding the locator pin on handlebar controls? Post by IslandRoad on 12/23/17 at 11:28:34 Hi guys, I want to grind off those little locator pins inside the switch boxes on the handlebars, so I can experiment more freely with the positioning. I read in one thread that some have done it without any problems. Has anyone had any trouble with them moving or slipping? Just looking for a bit more confirmation before I get the Dremel out. |

Thanks for the advice :) I really appreciate it. I have some Triumph Superbars arriving tomorrow (hopefully!). They were on back-order for 5 weeks, and missed the pre-Christmas delivery by one day! I can't wait to get 'em on and try them out lol |

Lol ;D I remember the first time I swapped the bars. I found those little pins and thought, darn! Is nothing simple?! The stress of getting the bars setup right (without having the levers and mirrors on) before the stress of drilling the holes in the right place!! ... and three broken M5 drill bits! |

Thanks ;D ;D My handlebars got caught up in the Christmas mail. The tracking showed they were in my state last Friday ... then they travelled back interstate, and have been stuck there over Christmas. No mail over the NYE weekend! Hopefully they arrive next week. I'm just a bit keen! |
