I have removed the air box and installed a K&N pod filter and like the old school open area . What have you guys done ? Thanks A Million |

Title: Re: Small battery for Bobber Build ? Post by Dave on 11/09/17 at 06:36:33 Earth-X ETX12A battery. I bought it in the spring of 2013....and it is still going strong. My bike doesn't have any clocks or devices that draw power when the ignition is turned off - the battery has not been on a charger or tender in the 5 years I have owned the battery. https://earthxbatteries.com/shop/etx12a |
Title: Re: Small battery for Bobber Build ? Post by Gary_in_NJ on 11/09/17 at 07:33:49 I’m using a Battery Tender LiOn battery. Supper small and light. The only down side to a LiOn battery is cold weather performance, but if you’re a fair weather rider the you won’t have a problem. |
Title: Re: Small battery for Bobber Build ? Post by ohiomoto on 11/09/17 at 09:48:11 Mine has been handling the cold fine. Even fired it up a few times last winter in the low 30s without issues. (Though the first battery I received wouldn't even start the bike.) It will be interesting to see how long it lasts. |
