I read it, but when someone states unless a certain activity happens we "have no Democracy" I just tend to blow it off. Its an opinion piece as you stated and I don't believe all of it is accurate.

The lefties want THEIR tyrants in charge.
The neocons want theirs.
People like me are sick of the lies and wars and steady downhill spiral of the economic and societal norms.
We want the America that was the Republic of our Constitution.
The Idealogues on both sides are screwing up. The ignorant masses choose to pretend that because the federal reserve predates their birth and was taught them in school as some magical and necessary thing that they must not question it.

If the people understood what was going on there would be a revolution.
So,either he's an idiot, or the people who don't have a problem with it
