Title: Optima battery charger Post by JLC on 10/10/17 at 15:41:31 In September 2013, I bought a new Optima 1200 digital battery charger from the official online site. It worked well till last month (9/17), when the display went faulty, making the charger useless. I emailed Optima, asking if they could repair the display, and stating I knew the charger was one year out of warranty. Their response? They sent me a new charger, free of charge. :) |

Title: Re: Optima battery charger Post by JLC on 10/10/17 at 19:18:09 Can't keep the old one... deal is that they gave me a new one, I send the old one back to them. Free shipping, and I ship the old one in the box the new one was in. I am OK with that. I am still amazed they sent me a new charger one year after the warranty! Great way to keep a customer happy. |
Title: Re: Optima battery charger Post by Dave on 10/11/17 at 03:26:32 Good going Optima! I have just had a similar experience with Wolverine boots. I buy them online 2 pairs at a time to cut down shipping costs per pair, and 1 pair sat up on the shelf for nearly 2 years before I started wearing them. About 3 months after I started wearing them one of the speed lace hooks broke, and I couldn't find any local shoe repair place that had a proper sized hook to fix it. I contacted Wolverine and initially they were going to get me a hook that my shoe repair place could use - but after a few weeks of not being able to get one they told me to send my boots back for a replacement. I buy them here.....I like Wolverine Raider boots so much better than the RedWings that I used to wear. My last 2 pairs of Redwings make my feet stink, and they won't hold polish (I wear my boot everywhere....even to church). http://www.workbootsusa.com/wolverine-construction-work-boots.html |
