Just a quick question for anyone who may know.

Will a 1996-2004 rear fender strut / sissy bar bracket fit on my 2007 S40?

Yes, the offset may be different - which affects the length of the bolts. Try to get the bolts that go with the bracket you are buying.

Unfortunately I can't trade anything, as my Savage didn't have the plain fender strut, it was just bare fender. But thanks for the offer! (Plus, I already ordered a strut and sissy bar on eBay...)

Too bad you weren't looking a few months ago, I had a couple of those stuts and sissy bars for sale.

I use my bike to commute from Hudson to Barberton for work and I pass Coventry Township almost everyday on Robinson and Manchester roads.
