Title: Zimbabwe

Had a great time in Zimbabwe working with all the orphans. Also got to be a little daring at the reserve.

That is daring.......I try to keep my distance from most women.

They can be extremely unpredictable!

Oh my!  And she has a stick too!

Don't be fooled by her outward appearance of kindness as she pets the little kitty cat. It's a trick!

You are brave!

Kudos, man.  I've been to Tanzania (Dar Es Salaam) and Zanzibar, but never go up close to a beast like that (talking about the lions, here)!  I would have, given the opportunity, as I love the big cats.

These Lions were raised by humans so they are at best ambivalent towards humans. They are 22 months old and at 24 months they stop human contact and at 36 months they are released in the wild. They are allowed to kill on the reserve to hone in their hunting skills. You can only approach them from the rear and you can never touch their heads or turn your back to them........it's was quite thrilling.......
