Title: Re: Any bets on 2018? Post by Dave on 09/21/17 at 13:17:31 Well somebody, somewhere thinks you can buy a Savage in 2018! http://motos.rutamotor.com/conoce-todos-los-detalles-la-suzuki-ls-650-2018/ |
Title: Re: Any bets on 2018? Post by zipidachimp on 09/21/17 at 21:34:03 No '18 cruisers on Suzuki.com. Warehouses are probably full of '17s! 8-) |

I do believe the Honda 500 Rebel is likely to sell a lot better than the current Savage model.....it is more user friendly. I see a speedometer, clock, fuel gauge, trip odo, accessory plug! http://i65.tinypic.com/2zodstk.jpg |
Title: Re: Any bets on 2018? Post by Ruttly on 09/22/17 at 21:55:00 It's still weird looking , fugly , personality zip, zero, nada ! But I would like to ride one ! |
Title: Re: Any bets on 2018? Post by zipidachimp on 09/22/17 at 22:01:25 Last November when the rebel was rumoured, I was totally excited: 2 cyls, 500cc, foot forward. Started saving. The announcement deflated my balloon. Talk about ugly! Still haven't seen one on the street. Owners must be too embarrassed to ride in daytime, LOL!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D |
Title: Re: Any bets on 2018? Post by jcstokes on 09/23/17 at 02:05:12 Don't know what Suzuki offers Americans in their cruiser line up, in little old NZ you can only go from the beloved S40/LS650/Savage to a 1800cc MR 109 thingy. What a leap and the 109 thingy is two and a half time the price. |

Here in Aus we have the the M50 and the C90 available ... but I can't think of a good reason why I would! |
Title: Re: Any bets on 2018? Post by Serowbot on 09/23/17 at 07:28:41 Really needs a black exhaust... :-? http://motos.rutamotor.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/LS650-01-1000x600.jpg |
Title: Re: Any bets on 2018? Post by MMRanch on 09/23/17 at 07:30:43 Yep ! The S-40 w/25 tooth F/pulley is really easy to like unless you carry a passenger a lot . :) My garmin shows a lot of information on the dash ... the tiny-little fuel tank could grow to 4.? if Suzuki want to do something different to jump sales ??? ::) Heck ! I'd might get a new one just for the 200 mile range. ;) |
Title: Re: Any bets on 2018? Post by jcstokes on 09/23/17 at 13:07:21 Make them all Pearl White and Silver, more powder coating and less cheapo chrome. I wonder about the aesthetics of a larger tank, but there are times I could use one. |
Title: Re: Any bets on 2018? Post by Ruttly on 09/23/17 at 17:27:51 Yeah a guy has a white & silver one for sale near here with 1200 miles on the clock and its spotless clean for 2900/BO |

I've tried really hard to like the blacked out version. It was the first S40 I ever saw. But, it just doesn't do it for me. Blacked out, to me, says 'badass' but the stock bike just isn't. |

Title: Re: Any bets on 2018? Post by Ruttly on 09/24/17 at 08:07:30 They are saving the best for last. You don't think they are going to drop the entire cruiser line. I think they did this last year too. |
