Title: Rollcage/tipguard/protection for when the bike fal
Post by Cryptonitor on 09/18/17 at 07:40:43

Greetings.
I'm currently on the cusp of winter, so I need some protective metal bars to keep the bike from getting smashed when I fall. Does anyone know of any that will fit? Been on the phone with all the suppliers in my country today and none can deliver such bars.
Below follows pictures of what I'm talking about.

This is the only thing I could come up with for you. I don't know of any other crash bars.

Is it really a matter of WHEN and not IF?

The Suzuki oem bars are not large enough to do anything, don't get them for falling over.  Wingerline made some that interface well but I was unable to find any for sale.

You might have to have your own made.  If you don't care what they look like a shop can slap some one-inch pipe on there for you reasonably.  I have 1-1/4 inch angle iron welded to the front then bolt-on 1" pipe so they are easy to replace when they get too damaged.

If you want smooth bends with chrome the cost will be about 5x more than untreated straight pipe.  At least where I am that is the situation.
