The Police Department for one of the local cities I work for has an officer training to become a drone pilot - and our company just bought a drone as one of our clients wanted us to use them to fly and photograph the 100+ acre subdivisions he builds.....we just opened the box this morning and one employee is designated to learn to be the pilot! I don't know that they get more pay - but they will likely get more job security!
