And there is a nearby convention center set up to help. Without more information, completing the picture, declaring what someone is or isn't is not possible. Personally I'm not a Name it and Claim it Christian, and I think he preaches that. |

Post by WebsterMark on 08/29/17 at 10:31:45 Few points on Osteen. 1) I don't begrudge anyone's legally obtained wealth, unlike many socialist we have at this table, but from what I've seen & heard of the Osteens, they equate prosperity with a certain level of Faith which I don't believe is a valid or accurate doctrine. 2) earlier this year, I joined a team from my company in what's called in the industry, a sales blitz. Basically, you get multiple teams of two people and knock on doors, cold calling. We do this in cities where we hire new people and they need a jumpstart, a group of leads to follow up on so they can get their career going. That was the case in Houston a few months ago. I think we had eight teams participating. as a segment manager over a dedicated industry, I only went to those particular places but another team stopped in on Osteen's church. based on what they said, it was probably the award winner as far as rudest people to answer a call. I wasn't there but one of the guys swears the security guards were packing to heat. on the other hand, churches are not immune from being targeted by desperate or insane people. 3) with all the hubbub going on about whether they open their doors, it occurred to me; what's the difference between what politicians did like obama, Pelosi, the Democratic Party in general, when they open the borders of the nation to a group of people we all know contains undesirables who will hurt and kill people . those in charge who opened those borders will never, ever have to face the real consequences of that action.. All of them will be very well protected by armed guards, gated communities etc. Just a thought.... |
