A friend of mine handed me a July 1986 copy of Cycle World. In this magazine is a Savage ad that I'm sure didn't see many inserts.

Hay , I like Chicken ! :)

I'd been drooling on the LS-650 for a long time before I finally got one .

I had a Kawasaki 750 LTD , with 4 of everything .... by time the cam chain wore out about 45,000 miles , I had the right frame of mind to buy a bike with only ONE (1) of everything .
It was either the Yamaha 650 V-Twin (one Carb.) or the Savage ... well ... the Savage has proved to be the wise choice ! :)
The Yamaha has two cam chains ! ;D Double trouble !
