Title: Gear Indicator Post by stewmills on 08/04/17 at 12:06:16 I wasn't looking for it but ebay thought I was and showed it to me. It's a gear indicator that works off of a magnet and sensors. The idea is great, but all you have to do is get one false shift and the reading is off. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Gear-LED-Digital-Indicator-Motorcycle-Display-Shift-Lever-Sensor-Blue-Light/272737351267?_trksid=p2059210.c100148.m2813&_trkparms=aid%3D333008%26algo%3DRIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140127102845%26meid%3Da08950781efa4398a50a5a17810e6f08%26pid%3D100148%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D4%26mehot%3Dpp%26sd%3D122557355925 |
Title: Re: Gear Indicator Post by verslagen1 on 08/04/17 at 12:21:56 Well, it's cheap enough. But I'd be ripping it in 8th gear all day long. :-? |

Title: Re: Gear Indicator Post by Gary_in_NJ on 08/04/17 at 17:36:42 The gauge cluster I put on my street tracker has a geat indicator (Acewell 6502). It uses rpm and speed to determine gear and it's dead accurate. |

Title: Re: Gear Indicator Post by jcstokes on 08/04/17 at 18:43:21 The GN 250 and perhaps some earlier Suzuki's had this feature, I sometimes wonder why they did away with it. I too, try for sixth on occasion, and sometimes stay in fourth until I wake up. |
